Dr. Kathryn E. Keeton is the Chief Executive Officer of Minerva Work Solutions and received her doctorate in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Houston. While in graduate school, she worked as a consultant under the guidance of her graduate advisor working with various oil and gas companies in the Houston area assisting in a variety of projects including training development, survey design, employee assessment, and selection.
In 2007, she accepted a position with the Methodist Hospital in Houston Texas as a Lead Process Improvement Specialist, focusing on Organizational Development strategies within this organization.
Upon completing her degree in 2008, Dr. Keeton joined EASI, a subcontractor to the National Aviation and Space Administration (NASA) as a Senior Scientist to manage the Team Risk within the Behavioral Health and Performance Research Element. Her role focused on managing a large portfolio focused on Team Research (e.g., leadership development and training, team development and training, selection and composition, etc.) necessary to produce the deliverables needed by NASA to enable long-duration spaceflight.
In 2011, Dr. Keeton moved into a new role at NASA as an Innovation and Strategy Coordinator working directly for the Human Health and Performance Directorate and the Center of Excellence for Collaborative Innovation (https://www.nasa.gov/offices/COECI/index.html). During her tenure in this position, Dr. Keeton managed the internal crowdsourcing platform NASA@work and served as the project manager over key strategic change management efforts designed to increase employee acceptance of crowdsourcing strategies and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of utilized resources within the agency.
In her current roles, Dr. Keeton serves as a Managing Consultant with Minerva, providing services to a diverse set of organizations and individuals including executive coaching, organizational assessment, leadership training, team training and development, employee engagement, selection, and employee assessment. She is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Texas-San Antonio (UTSA) and teaches undergraduate courses in Entrepreneurship and a Professional Development course to graduate students in the College of Business.
Dr. Keeton is a member of the Society for Industrial Organizational Psychologists (SIOP) and the American Psychological Association (APA), has multiple authored and co-authored publications, and has presented on topics related to innovation, teams, and teamwork at numerous professional conferences.
